A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a motorist attempting to make a left turn at an intersection in Inglewood, a traffic investigator said Monday.
The crash occurred about 6:20 p.m. Sunday in the area of Manchester Boulevard and Tamarack Avenue, Inglewood Police Traffic Investigator Ryan Green said.
The motorcycle was going east on Manchester Avenue when it was struck by a vehicle attempting to make a left turn, Green said.
Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries. The driver stayed at the crash scene to cooperate with police, Green said.
There was no indication that the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
