
A man was injured Thursday in East Los Angeles when he doused himself with gasoline and lit himself on fire.
Firefighters responded about 5:40 p.m. to a report of a man splashing gasoline on himself and others while holding a lighter, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
The man was found, with burn injuries, in the area of Hicks Avenue and Olympic Boulevard and was taken to County-USC Medical Center, the dispatcher said.
There was no immediate word on his condition.
