Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was killed in an apparent gang-related shooting at his home in Inglewood that left two other people wounded.

Officers were sent to 106th Street and Yukon Avenue about 12:35 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a man trying to break into a residence, said Inglewood police Lt. Neal Cochran.

Officers heard gunshots as they were pulling up, and upon entering the home, they found one man dead and two female victims suffering from gunshot wounds, Cochran said.

The man was identified by the coroner’s office as 25-year-old Eric Urias. The survivors were hospitalized in unknown condition.

Two men were taken into custody a short time after the crime, and a third was taken into custody several hours later while trying to hide in the neighborhood.

Inglewood Mayor James Butts told reporters at the scene that he believes the suspects are gang members and the crime was gang-related.
