Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detectives worked Wednesday to determine the source of a large amount of blood found on the floor of a home in an unincorporated area near Azusa.
Deputies from the sheriff’s San Dimas Station went to a home in the 6100 block of Goodway Drive about 10:15 p.m. Monday in response to a disturbance call, said sheriff’s Lt. Derrick Alfred.
Deputies entered the home and spotted blood on the floor but did not find anyone inside, Alfred said.
Homicide detectives were called in, but it isn’t clear if a crime occurred, Alfred said.
Detectives are looking for at least one resident of the home but did not immediately release the person’s name, according to Alfred.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
