A woman found dead from at least one gunshot wound in Carson was publicly identified Monday.
She was Lucrecia Phillips, 46, of Carson, coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz said.
Deputies responding to a “person down/rescue’ call at 1:30 a.m. Sunday on the 18200 block of Towne Avenue found the woman suffering from at least one gunshot, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, Koerner said. There was no description of the suspect.
