A man found fatally wounded on a sidewalk in Long Beach was publicly identified Monday, authorities said.
Joshua Harris, 24, was a Long Beach resident, coroner’s Investigator Kimberley Arnold said.
Officers dispatched at 11:40 p.m. Friday regarding a shooting in the 1200 block of Chestnut Avenue found the victim on a sidewalk suffering a gunshot wound to the chest, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics pronounced the victim now identified as Arnold dead at the scene, and police said the crime might have been gang-related.
