A man attempting to rob an internet cafe in Lancaster was shot and killed Monday by a security guard at the business and another robbery suspect fled the scene, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 12:43 a.m. at an internet cafe in the 400 block of West Lumber Street, Sgt. B. Kinsella of the sheriff’s Lancaster station said.
Two suspects wearing ski masks attempted to hold up the business when the security guard shot one, Kinsellsa said. The other fled the scene.
The fatally wounded suspect, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
