A woman is hospitalized Wednesday morning with stab wounds suffered in an attack near a church in Santa Ana.
Officers responded about 11 p.m. Tuesday to the 500 block of East Santa Ana Boulevard and located the victim who had been stabbed at least once in the upper torso, according to Cmdr. Robert Rodriguez of the Santa Ana Police Department.
A videographer at the scene reported the incident occurred at the nearby La Luz Del Mundo Church on East Santa Ana Boulevard.
The woman was transported to a hospital in stable condition, Rodriguez said.
The victim’s age was not immediately disclosed, and a description of the suspect or suspects was not immediately released.
