Two people were shot and wounded in Palm Springs Sunday, one with life threatening injuries, Palm Springs police said.
The shooting was reported at 1:53 a.m. on the 600 block of South Palm Canyon.
Palm Springs police received multiple phone calls from people saying they heard gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found a large crowd gathered in a parking lot near the two victims, police said.
Both were transported to a hospital. One was in critical condition with possibly life threatening injuries, the other was listed in serious condition.
No suspect information was available.
