Police asked for the public’s help Saturday in identifying a man suspected of robbing two 24-hour businesses in Canoga Park.
The first robbery occurred on Feb. 12 in the 22800 block of Saticoy Street and the second happened Feb. 15 in the 6400 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Both robberies occurred between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
In each incident, the suspect walked into the store, approached the counter, pulled a gun from his waistband, pointed it at the cashier and demanded money, police said. The suspect walked out of the store with cash and has been seen in a gray or silver sedan.
The suspect is black, 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall and weighs 160 to 170 pounds with brown hair and a mustache. He should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
