A woman was killed in Lancaster and a family member was detained in connection with the death, authorities said Monday.
It was reported just after 2 p.m. Sunday in the 45300 block of Seventh Street East, Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
The woman suffered blunt force trauma to the upper body, Koerner said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies detained a family member at the scene and sheriff’s homicide detectives were questioning that relative, he said.
