Authorities were requesting the public’s help identifying a person of interest in the death of a man in Huntington Park Sunday.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to an altercation in the 3500 block of Florence Avenue at 12:03 a.m. Sunday. They found a man who they believe was assaulted with an edged weapon. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities were searching for a person of interest, described as a 40- to 50-year-old man with dark hair and a gray beard wearing a royal blue hoodie, dark pants and black and white shoes.
