An 81-year-old Irvine man with dementia and a history of heart problems who went missing was found and reunited with his family, police said Saturday morning.
James Hempe visited the Newport Harbor Bowling Club in Corona del Mar Friday morning and was later seen at 1:35 p.m. at SS Burger Basket in Lake Elsinore, but had not been seen since, according to Irvine Police Department Communications Manager Kim Mohr.
Details of exactly where and when Hempe was located were not disclosed.
