A man riding a motorcycle was shot Monday in unincorporated Whittier, authorities said.
It happened about 12:35 a.m. in the 14000 block of Adger Drive, Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
Deputies responding to the shooting call searched the area for any suspects or victims, Schrader said. The motorcyclist was found with at least one gunshot wound in the 10500 block of Victoria Avenue and taken to a hospital for treatment.
No information was immediately available on the condition of the motorcyclist or on the shooter.
