A man wounded in a deputy-involved shooting in Inglewood later died at a hospital, authorities said Friday.
Deputies responded about 10:30 p.m. Thursday to the 3700 block of Imperial Highway, between Doty and Yukon avenues, according to Deputy Erin Liu of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. She did not have details of what led up to the shooting.
The suspect was taken to a hospital, where he died, the sheriff’s department said.
NBC4 reported a suspect got into a sheriff’s patrol vehicle and shots were fired. Video showed bullet holes in the vehicle’s windshield.
The name and age of the victim was not released.
