A man riding a motorcycle died in a crash on the La Brea Avenue onramp to the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, authorities said Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to the scene about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and located the victim down on the on-ramp, according to Officer Tony Polizzi of the California Highway Patrol. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no report of any other vehicles involved and the cause of the crash was under investigation, Polizzi said.
The La Brea Avenue onramp to the eastbound Santa Monica Freeway was shut down for the investigation.
No freeway lanes were closed.
