A 16-year-old girl was rescued from human trafficking in Pomona by police officers Tuesday morning, police said.
The girl was found in a patrol area known as the Holt Corridor where the the Pomona Police Department exerts special attention to deter prostitution and human trafficking, said Pomona police Sgt. Rick Aguilar.
The girl was interviewed and allocated proper resources, police said. Police are investigating the case.
