The driver of a rental car was killed Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Arcadia, where the vehicle went airborne and ended up lodged in the window of a flower shop.
A witness told police the vehicle was speeding westbound on Live Oak Avenue at Las Tunas Drive when the driver lost control, hit the center median and the vehicle became airborne and crashed into the business, according to the Arcadia Police Department.
The vehicle, a red Hyundai Elantra, was a rental, police said.
The age, gender and name of the victim was not disclosed.
