A pedestrian fatally injured in the West Los Angeles area was publicly identified Sunday.
Efrain Espinoza was 43 years-old and a Los Angeles resident, coroner’s Lt. Nani Cholakians said.
The victim now identified as Espinoza was struck by an older-model box truck with faded “Penske” signage on it about 6:20 a.m. Wednesday at Pico and Sepulveda boulevards, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The person who was allegedly behind the wheel was later taken into custody for questioning, police said.
