Two people died in an apartment fire in Azusa, authorities said Friday morning.
Firefighters responded to the 800 block of 13th Street about 9:10 p.m. Thursday and found one unit of an apartment complex fully involved with fire, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Crews extinguished the fire in 34 minutes, then found two bodies inside the burned-out apartment, the department said.
The ages, genders and names of the victims were not disclosed.
No firefighters were injured.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
