A search was on Monday evening in the Exposition Park area for a kidnapping suspect who is the subject of a felony arrest warrant.
The perimeter search began about 8:25 p.m. in the area of Wisconsin and 38th streets for the suspect, who was identified as 25-year-old Joshua Maiden, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im.
No details were immediately available about the alleged kidnapping.
Maiden is described as black, 6-feet tall, 170 pounds with a light moustache. He was wearing a blue jacket and khaki pants, Im said.
