A 29-year-old man who was fatally shot in Montebello was identified Sunday by the coroner’s office, police said.
The homicide was reported at 12:55 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of South Bluff Road, according to Montebello police Lt. David Kim.
The victim, Hector Guzman Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner’s office and Kim.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately available.
No suspect information was available from police.
