An armed suspect holed up inside a home Sunday in Sylmar was taken into custody, according to the sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau.
With details still sketchy, the suspect was apprehended sometime before 9 a.m., the sheriff’s department reported.
The incident was centered around a search warrant, according to a spokeswoman.
The investigation was ongoing.
Temporary road closures in the area were lifted, and officials said the neighborhood was safe.
