A 46-year-old Jurupa Valley woman was allegedly kidnapped Saturday from a residence by a transient from the Los Angeles area and both were still missing, authorities said.

Jennifer Martinez was taken about 9:30 a.m. from a residence in the 3700 block of Eve Circle, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Tyson Voss said.

The department claims she was taken against her will by Robert Lopez, a known acquaintance.

Both were last seen walking from the area, he said.

Neither Martinez nor Lopez was located despite a search of the area on land and in the air and the use of K-9 officers, Voss said.

Martinez is described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 120 pounds, with short brown hair, last seen wearing a white top and black and silver striped pajama pants.

Lopez is Hispanic, 6 feet 1 inch tall, about 250 pounds with a shaved head and a tattoo on his right hand that is possibly a skull. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts was asked to call investigators at 951-955-2600 or the dispatch center at 951-776-1099.
