Signal lights were out Saturday evening at a Brea intersection and 135 customers were without power after a transformer blew out in neighboring La Habra, authorities said.

It was reported by Brea police on Twitter about 7:30 p.m. that signal lights were out at Lambert Road and Berry Street.

Police added at 7:50 p.m. that the northwest part of Brea was without power and that Southern California Edison was notified.

The outage affected 135 customers in Brea and power would be restored to most by 7 a.m. Sunday, Edison said on its website.
