A two-car crash left one person dead and a second person hurt in Monterey Park Sunday, according to authorities and a broadcast report.
The crash occurred about 4 p.m. on West Floral Drive near Valley Vista Drive, Monterey Park police said.
One person died at the scene, CBS2 reported.
The age and gender of that victim was not yet known. The other person was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries. There was no immediate word on that person’s condition.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
West Floral Drive between Crest Vista and Valley Vista drives was temporarily closed, police said.
