Two people were taken to a hospital Thursday after a car fell three stories from a parking garage, hitting vehicles on the ground near the Beverly Center.

The car fell about 1:20 p.m. in the 100 block of North La Cienega Boulevard, near the Beverly Center, according to Officer Jeff Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Fire crews received a call that two patients were trapped in the car, but no one was trapped upon arrival, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Two people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Information about how the car fell was not immediately available.
