A man was stabbed this evening outside a casino in Compton and walked inside for aid.
The stabbing occurred about 7:55 p.m. in the 100 block of Artesia Boulevard, near Alameda Street, according to Deputy Erin Liu of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim walked into Crystal Casino for help, and an employee called 9-1-1, according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Liu said.
It was not immediately clear if a suspect was in custody.
