A man was fatally shot Friday in El Monte.
The man died at the scene of the shooting that occurred about 7:30 a.m. in the 11000 block of Lower Azusa Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which was assisting El Monte police in the investigation.
No suspect description was released.
Information on the fatally wounded man’s identity was not immediately available.
