Long Beach police fatally shot a woman allegedly wielding a knife, authorities said Monday.
Officers were called about 10:20 p.m. Sunday to a family dispute in the 200 block of Molina Avenue, said Long Beach police Lt. James Richardson.
“They encountered a female adult armed with a knife,” Richardson said, adding only that a fatal officer-involved shooting ensued in which no officers were injured.
The shooting was under investigation.
