At least three people were shot Wednesday evening in South Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred about 8:05 p.m. in the 800 block of East 109th Place, between Avalon Boulevard and Central Avenue, according to Officer Luis Garcia of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Two victims with gunshot wounds stayed at that location, and two other people called for police in the 11700 block of Athens Way, near the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, according to Garcia.
At least one of the two people who called from the second location sustained gunshot wounds, Garcia said.
The suspect, who was wearing a red, white and blue shirt, sped off in a car after the shooting, Garcia said.
