A 21-year-old Ripley man suspected in the weekend shooting death of a Blythe man turned himself in Thursday and was being held on $1 million bail.
TeAndre Robinson surrendered at 3:10 a.m. at the Colorado River sheriff’s station in Blythe and was booked on suspicion of murdering of 23-year-old Blythe resident Martin Perez last Saturday, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call about 7:40 p.m. Saturday in the area of 25th and Ramsey avenues in Ripley, when they found Perez lying in the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
