The coroner’s office Monday released the name of a man found dead at the scene of a residential fire in West Covina, where the body of a woman was also found.
John Cundiff, 75, was a West Covina resident. The woman has yet to be positively identified, coroner’s officials said. Autopsies were pending.
The bodies were discovered about 1:45 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of North Broadmoor Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which was assisting West Covina police in the investigation.
