A Pomona police officer sustained minor injuries Thursday when the motorcycle he was driving was involved in a collision with a German shepherd who had run into a street.
The collision occurred Thursday afternoon when the officer was riding westbound in the 1500 block of Arroyo Avenue, near Dudley Street, according to the Pomona Police Department.
The dog is OK, police reported. Its owner cooperated with authorities, and personnel from the Inland Valley Humane Society were at the scene to assist.
