A man was fatally shot Saturday in front of a shopping center in Pico Rivera.
The shooting was reported at 2:24 p.m. at Whittier Boulevard and Acacia Avenue, said Lt. N. Mitri of the Pico Rivera Sheriff’s Station.
The victim was believed to have been shot on the street, then stumbled into the parking lot of the center, Mitri said.
Paramedics stabilized the victim at the scene and took him to County USC Medical Center, where the sheriff’s department announced he died just before 8 p.m.
The man’s name and suspect information were not available.
