Two Los Angeles police officers were hospitalized Friday evening with stable vital signs after being involved in a head-on crash in South Los Angeles.
The crash occurred near Jefferson Boulevard and Arlington Avenue about 9:10 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Both officers complained of pain and were taken to a hospital, the department said.
A woman driving the other vehicle was taken into custody, police said.
KCAL9 reported the accident was a head-on crash.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
