Authorities Friday identified a family dispute suspect who was killed in an officer-involved shooting in the Harbor Gateway area.

Anthony Ysaac, 26, of Los Angeles, was shot about 12:45 p.m. Thursday near 123rd Street and Menlo Avenue and died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officers were en route to a reported family dispute at a residence when they received another report of gunfire and the call was upgraded to a “shooting in progress,” according to the LAPD.

When officers arrived on scene, a man — later identified as Ysaac — came out of the residence with a handgun, leading them to fire on him, according to the LAPD.

No officers were injured in the shooting, and a handgun was recovered at the scene, police said.
