A man was stabbed to death in El Monte and a suspect was on the loose Thursday morning.
El Monte police officers responded to a disturbance call in the 10000 block of Valley Boulevard, near Baldwin Avenue, about 8:50 p.m. Wednesday and found the victim suffering from several stab wounds to the upper body, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which was assisting with the investigation.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
A description of the suspect was not immediately available.
