A brother and sister in their 40s were behind bars Thursday on suspicion of stealing six motorcycles, Irvine police said Thursday.

Vincent Catanho, 49, and Bonnie Catanho, 47, were arrested in Pico Rivera Wednesday on suspicion of theft of motorcycles, residential burglary and operating a chop shop, according to Irvine police.

The siblings are accused of storing the stolen motorcycles in Pico Rivera, Whittier and Norwalk, police said. Police recovered six motorcycles “in various stages of assembly, including two stolen from Irvine this week,” police said.
