A convicted felon accused of possessing a loaded gun remained jailed Wednesday on $10,000 bail after being arrested in Moreno Valley.
Luis Miranda, 25, of Moreno Valley was booked at the Riverside jail on Tuesday on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jose Ayala.
The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop at 7:11 p.m. in the 25000 block of Fir Avenue, sheriff’s officials said.
Inside the vehicle was Miranda, who deputies say told them he was carrying a loaded gun, according to Ayala. Deputies searched Miranda, found the gun and then took him into custody.
