A 78-year-old East L.A. woman suffering from dementia has gone missing, and authorities are asking Monday for public help to find her.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s investigators say Joann Ruotolo was last seen Sunday at about 7:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Amalia Avenue in East Los Angeles. She is 5 feet 1, with gray hair and green eyes.
She was wearing a blue sweater and blue jeans. Ruotulo was last seen near her residence.
Her loved ones are very concerned, according to the sheriff’s department. Anyone who knows her whereabouts is urged to contact the the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 222-TIPS (8477).
