A 38-year-old man was killed in what authorities say was an apparent gang-related shooting outside his residence in Montecito Heights, police said Tuesday, and authorities were looking for his killer.
Danny Paul Sandoval Sr. was shot about 9:10 p.m. Monday in the 3800 block of Monterey Road and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was standing in the carport area of his apartment complex when a male suspect approached and shot him multiple times,” an LAPD statement said.
