A road rage attack left a man hospitalized with stab injuries and two men jailed on suspicion of attempted murder, Culver City police reported Thursday.
Officers were flagged down by a witness about 5:10 p.m. Wednesday near Venice and Sepulveda boulevards. The victim, who had several stab wounds to his back, was taken to a hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening, according to police.
” It was determined that the incident stemmed from a road rage incident, which was captured on cell phone video by a witness,” according to a police statement. “The two suspects involved in the brutal attack were quickly identified by detectives. Within four hours of the crime, detectives … were able to locate the two male adult suspects, along with the getaway vehicle in the 4000 block of Inglewood Boulevard.”
Both men were booked on suspicion of attempted murder, but their names had not been publicly released as of noon, according to a police lieutenant.
