A 47-year-old woman was found dead in her San Jacinto home, and investigators Monday were trying to determine who killed her and why.
Marie Hannah died sometime Sunday in the 600 block of Groveside Drive, near Overleaf Way, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Sgt. Rick Espinoza said deputies were called to the victim’s residence about 9:30 p.m. and entered the property. Hannah was pronounced dead at the scene, but the circumstances were not disclosed.
Espinoza said the sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit took over the investigation. No suspects have been identified, and according to the sergeant, “no additional details are currently available.”
