Four Pedestrians, Including Three Children, Struck by Vehicle in South L.A.

An adult pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and critically injured Wednesday evening in South Los Angeles while three children suffered minor injuries.

The collision was reported about 8:50 p.m. in the 8700 block of South Wadsworth Avenue, near Central Avenue and 88th Street, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

There’s “no indication of a hit-and-run,” Los Angeles Police Department Officer Mike Lopez told City News Service.
