A 45-year-old man was killed when he crashed his vehicle into a tree in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported about 5 p.m. Sunday at 1960 West 52nd St., according to a desk officer in the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The man was driving eastbound on 52nd Street when he struck the tree, she said.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, the officer said.
