A welfare check led police Tuesday to discover the bodies of a woman and a man shot to death in Van Nuys in what police are investigating as a possible murder-suicide.
Officers went to a residence in the 14200 block of Gilmore Street, near Victory Boulevard, about 2:30 p.m., said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Officers found a woman and man, both in their 40s, Lopez said. The man possibly died from a self-inflicted wound.
Their names were not released pending notification of relatives.
