A man walking in the Westmont area of south Los Angeles Sunday heard gunshots and noticed he had been shot.
It was reported at 1:22 a.m. at 109th Street and Vermont Avenue, according to a desk officer in the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The victim took himself to a hospital for treatment and had stable vital signs, the officer said.
