A Metrolink train struck and killed a pedestrian Wednesday in Fullerton.
The person was fatally injured about 5:10 a.m. near Commonwealth Avenue and Gilbert Street, according to the Fullerton Police Department. The person’s identity was not immediately known.
The pedestrian was struck by Metrolink’s OC Line 681 train to Los Angeles, according to Metrolink.
Metrolink train 681 was canceled, and buses will be provided for rail passengers, making stops into Los Angeles, Metrolink reported. Rail passengers were advised to follow social media for updates involving other trains.
