The relationships of three people involved in a deadly shooting last month at a home in Baldwin Park were disclosed by authorities Friday morning.
Wen-Dong Huang, 58, of Rosemead, gravely assaulted his estranged wife, then shot and killed her daughter before turning the gun on himself at a house in the 3300 block of Athol Street on July 23, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which investigated the shooting with Baldwin Park police.
The suspect’s wife was taken to a hospital at the time with severe, but non-life-threatening injuries and is currently recovering, the department said.
Police had responded to a possible domestic violence report at the home and a firearm was recovered at the scene, the department said.
The coroner’s office identiied the woman’s daughter as Siying Wang, 18. The name of the suspect’s estranged wife was not disclosed.
